Ingredients
- Chocolate 53% - 7.1 oz
- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Cream 22% - 3 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Ground dried cherries - 1.8 oz
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Activated Baking Soda - a pinch
- Vanillin - a pinch
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt the chocolate together with the butter in a water bath. Once removed from heat, add the cream.
Step 2
After achieving a homogeneous mixture, add the egg, sugar, vanillin, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and dried cherries. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 3
While stirring, gradually add the flour to the batter.
Step 4
Pour the resulting batter into the molds (fill about 3/4 full). Bake at 356°F for 25 minutes.
Step 5
You can make the frosting as you wish. I made a meringue: beat 3 egg whites for three minutes, adding a pinch of salt. Continue beating while adding 250 g of powdered sugar, and beat for another 3 minutes. Decorate with frosting once the cupcakes have cooled.
