Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - ¾ glasses
- Sugar - ¾ glasses
- Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - ¼ spoons
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ spoons
- Cocoa Powder - 6 teaspoons
- Butter - 3 spoons
- Buttermilk - 6 teaspoons
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Pastry decorations - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Take a muffin pan and place a paper liner in each cup.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix cocoa powder and 3 tablespoons of hot water. Use a mixer to blend until it forms a paste. Then add the softened butter, buttermilk, egg, and egg white. Whisk well and gradually incorporate the flour.
Step 4
Divide the batter among the molds, filling them two-thirds full, and bake until done, checking with a toothpick, for about 20 minutes. Allow to cool slightly in the molds before transferring to a plate.
Step 5
Decorate the top with cream cheese frosting (see note) and sprinkle with decorative toppings (for example, in the shape of hearts).
