Description

Approximately 285 kcal for all crackers. The galette cookies can be stored for a long time in a closed container.

Ingredients

  • Oat flakes - 1.8 oz
  • Cocoa Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Baking Powder - ¼ teaspoon
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Olive Oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Water - 1 fl oz
  • Honey - ½ teaspoon
  • Desiccated coconut - to taste
  • Ground Cinnamon - to taste
  • Vanillin - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

In a bowl, mix the oat flour (grind the oats in a coffee grinder/blender), cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, cinnamon/vanillin, and shredded coconut.

Step 2

Add the olive oil and mix well.

Step 3

Gradually pour in the water mixed with honey. Knead into a flexible dough.

Step 4

On a floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of about 2-3 mm and cut out shapes using a cookie cutter (or a glass/mug).

Step 5

Collect the dough scraps, knead them, roll out again, and cut out shapes until the dough is used up. Alternatively, you can simply roll it out and cut it into squares for a quicker option.

Step 6

Place the crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Step 7

Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for 10-15 minutes.
