- Hazelnut - 5.3 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 7.4 oz
- Butter - 4.8 oz
- Baking Powder - 0.2 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - 0.1 oz
- Salt - 0.1 oz
- Ground Cinnamon - 0.1 oz
- Cardamom - 0 oz
- Milk - 8 fl oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Walnuts - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide

Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Chop 120 grams of chocolate coarsely with a knife and set aside.
Step 3
Grease the cake pan with butter and dust with cocoa powder.
Step 4
Spread the hazelnuts on a baking sheet and toast in an oven preheated to 356°F for 10 minutes, peel, and chop coarsely with a knife.

Sift the flour into a large bowl.

Add the sifted cocoa powder.

Add salt, baking powder, cinnamon, cardamom, and sugar.

Add the nuts.

Mix everything thoroughly.

Melt 90 grams of butter in the microwave.

In a smaller bowl, pour in the milk, crack in 2 eggs, and mix. Add the melted butter and whisk well.

Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and quickly mix the batter with a spatula.

Fold the chopped chocolate into the batter and mix.

Transfer the batter to the prepared pan, smooth the top, and bake for 45–50 minutes at 356°F, checking for doneness with a skewer.

Transfer the finished cake to a serving plate.

Toast the walnuts for 7–8 minutes in the oven, then coarsely grind them in a blender.

Break the remaining chocolate, add 30 grams of butter, and melt in the microwave in 15-second intervals or over a water bath.

Add honey and walnuts to the chocolate-butter mixture and mix.

Spread the resulting glaze over the cake. Wait for the glaze to set.

Slice and serve.
