An unexpected recipe — chocolate kissel, captivating with its thickness. It uses dark chocolate and milk, with calculated proportions. If you decide to cook with milk chocolate, try adjusting the proportions of milk in a separate container.

Ingredients

  • Milk - 20 fl oz
  • Liquid dark chocolate - 3.5 oz
  • Corn Starch - 0.7 oz
  • Sugar - 1.8 oz
  • Vanilla Pod - 3 pieces
  • Fresh Mint - 0 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Pour 2/3 of the milk into a saucepan, add sugar.

Step 2

Slice the vanilla pod in half lengthwise, scrape the seeds from 0.5 of the pod with a knife, and add both the seeds and the pod to the saucepan.

Step 3

Bring the milk to a boil, reduce the heat, and add the broken chocolate (save 1 piece of chocolate for decoration).

Step 4

Mix 1/3 of the milk with the cornstarch, stir well, and add to the boiling milk, stirring vigorously until all ingredients are completely dissolved.

Step 5

Remove the vanilla pod, slightly cool the kissel.

Step 6

Pour the kissel into glasses.

Step 7

Finely chop the remaining piece of chocolate, decorate the kissel with chocolate and mint, and serve.
