Description
Chocolate mousse with strawberry sauce
Ingredients
- Chocolate - 4.6 oz
- Egg white - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 4 tablespoons
- Cream - 1 fl oz
- Red Grape Juice - 2 tablespoons
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Strawberry - 15 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Break the chocolate into pieces and place it in a large bowl. Heat the cream and pour it over the chocolate, whisking until the chocolate is completely melted. If it doesn't melt right away, place the bowl in the microwave for 10 seconds, take it out, stir well, and repeat until the chocolate melts. Do not microwave for longer periods at once, as the chocolate may burn. Let it cool to room temperature.
Step 2
In another bowl, whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form, adding 2 tablespoons of sugar during the whipping process.
Step 3
Gently fold the egg whites into the chocolate, first 1/3, then the remaining 2/3. Divide into molds and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Step 4
To serve, prepare the sauce: cut the strawberries into quarters, and in a saucepan, combine the butter, wine, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Melt the butter and sugar, then add the strawberries, cooking over medium heat for 5 minutes until the strawberries soften. Let it cool, pour the sauce over the finished mousse, and serve.
