Description

These muffins are the perfect dessert for a friendly gathering: they're easy to whip up in between tasks, bake in just 15 minutes, and should be eaten right away while the chocolate is still gooey inside.   • Sugar - 14.1 oz
  • 70% Dark Chocolate - 14.1 oz
  • Butter - 14.1 oz
  • Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 8 pieces

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Melt a bar of chocolate (make sure it's dark chocolate made with cocoa butter) in a double boiler with sugar and butter.

Step 2

Remove the pot with the melted and mixed chocolate-butter mixture from the heat, crack in all the eggs, and stir vigorously.

Step 3

Add the sifted flour all at once and mix again. Just for a short time, enough to combine the flour with the chocolate and eggs; otherwise, the dough will lose its tenderness. The dough can be prepared in advance and can be easily stored in the refrigerator for three to four days.

Step 4

Spread the batter into the molds and bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for thirteen to fifteen minutes. No longer, otherwise the center will cook through and the effect of the melting chocolate oozing from the broken cake will be lost. For the same reason, the cakes should be served immediately, piping hot.
