Chocolate muffins with chocolate and nuts

Ingredients

  • Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
  • Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
  • Sugar - 3.5 oz
  • Butter - 3.5 oz
  • Baking Powder - 2 spoons
  • Cocoa Powder - 4 spoons
  • Chocolate - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Mix the butter with the sugar (do not melt the butter; it will soften slightly on its own).

Step 2

Add the eggs and mix (lumps are okay — it's not a problem).

Step 3

Add the baking powder and cocoa powder to the flour and mix everything together.

Step 4

Chop one chocolate bar into 4 pieces and add it to the prepared batter.

Step 5

If anyone wants, this is the perfect time to add nuts (hazelnuts), to taste.

Step 6

Pour the mixture into the molds (I lined the molds with squares of parchment paper to make it easier to remove the muffins, and it looks nice too).

Step 7

Bake in the oven for 20–25 minutes at 356°F.

Step 8

Melt the second chocolate bar in a double boiler and use it to decorate the top.

Step 9

Grate the third chocolate bar (not the whole bar, you'll have some left over) and sprinkle it over the muffins.
