Description
Chocolate Muffins with Walnuts
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 6.2 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 5.3 oz
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Milk - 1 fl oz
- Vanillin - 1 teaspoon
- Walnuts - 0.7 oz
- Fructose - 1½ tablespoons
- Cocoa Powder - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Add baking powder to the flour and sift it into a bowl.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, then add melted butter, room temperature milk, sugar, and mix thoroughly.
Step 3
Make a well in the center of the sifted flour and pour in the mixture, mixing until smooth.
Step 4
Next, break off 4 equal pieces from the chocolate and set aside. Grate the remaining chocolate on a fine grater.
Step 5
Add the grated chocolate, cocoa, and vanillin, along with the broken walnut pieces, to the muffin batter we have prepared. I added the walnuts by eye; there shouldn't be too many. Just a little surprise in each muffin that you occasionally find.
Step 6
Distribute the mixture into muffin molds (I baked in silicone ones) filling them 2/3 full, and place half of the reserved chocolate square in the center of each muffin (if the pieces are small, use them whole).
Step 7
Bake for 18–20 minutes at 392°F. Let cool and serve.
