- Condensed Milk - 1 can
- Walnuts - 3.5 oz
- Sugar - 6.2 oz
- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Cocoa Powder - 5 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the nuts into pieces and toast them in a dry skillet.
Step 2
In a small saucepan, mix the condensed milk with cocoa powder.
Step 3
Add sugar and nuts to the condensed milk mixture and stir.
Step 4
Cook the mixture over low heat for about 15 minutes, until it starts to pull away from the sides of the saucepan.
Step 5
Line a small baking dish with foil, grease it with butter, and pour the hot chocolate mixture into it.
Step 6
Let the chews cool slightly and then refrigerate for 3–4 hours.
Step 7
Remove the set block from the dish and take off the foil.
Step 8
Cut it into small chewy candies and serve.
Step 9
Serve the finished chocolate chews with tea or coffee.
