Ingredients
- Liquid dark chocolate - 1.8 oz
- Pitted Wild Apricots - 1.8 oz
- Armagnac - 2 fl oz
- Chopped almonds - 1.8 oz
- Butter - 3.9 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Demerara Sugar - 7.9 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1.8 oz
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the chopped prunes in Armagnac overnight.
Step 2
Chop the almonds and roast them in the oven at 356°F for 8 minutes.
Step 3
Place the chocolate and butter in a bowl and set over a water bath. Wait for the chocolate to melt and whisk. Blend all other ingredients, prunes, and nuts until smooth. Mix with the chocolate.
Step 4
Pour the mixture into a buttered mold. Bake at 356°F for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Let cool, then cut into squares.
