Description
Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 0.7 cups
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Crackers - 1 cup
- Cocoa Powder - 3 tablespoons
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Brown Sugar - 2.6 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 10.6 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 3.2 oz
- Vanilla extract - 0.5 teaspoons
- Salt - a pinch
- Activated Baking Soda - 0.5 teaspoons
- Baking Powder - 0.5 teaspoons
- Peanut Butter - 5.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop half of the chocolate. Melt the other half in a water bath, adding the butter. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and soft. Remove from heat.
Step 2
Mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa, and salt. Stir well. Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 3
In another bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Once the mixture is smooth, pour in the melted chocolate. Gently start adding the flour and the remaining chopped chocolate.
Step 4
In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder. Use a whisk for better mixing.
Step 5
Grease a baking sheet with butter, line it with parchment paper, and grease it again. Start 'pouring' the mixture and forming cookies.
Step 6
Beat the peanut butter with the powdered sugar. Place 1 teaspoon on each cookie.
Step 7
Crush the cookies into fine crumbs. Slightly flatten the cookies and sprinkle with the crumbs. Bake for about 10–12 minutes. The cookies should not be dry; they should be slightly underbaked.
