Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 7.8 oz
- Cocoa Powder - 0.7 oz
- Instant coffee - 4 teaspoons
- Butter - 4.1 oz
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 4 tablespoons
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Large eggs - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the instant coffee, cocoa powder, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Add boiling water to the bowl and stir well.
Step 2
In another bowl, place the butter and sugar and beat with a mixer until creamy and smooth. Add the large egg, vanilla extract, and salt to this bowl and mix again with the mixer.
Step 3
Add the cocoa, cinnamon, and coffee mixture and beat slightly. Gradually add the flour and mix until the mixture resembles a smooth dough.
Step 4
Place the dough on a board dusted with a thin layer of flour. Shape the dough into a ball. Wrap it in foil and place it in the refrigerator for about an hour.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 347°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 6
Roll the dough into a log and cut it into 18 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a small ball and then roll it into a 30-centimeter log. Twist each log into a pretzel shape. It’s convenient to do this directly on the parchment paper to avoid damaging them when transferring.
Step 7
Place on the baking sheet and bake until done.
