Chocolate Semifreddo

Ingredients

  • 10% cream - 10 fl oz
  • Sugar - 5.3 oz
  • Liquid dark chocolate - 5.3 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
  • Fresh Mint - to taste
  • Green Banana Syrup - to taste
  • Fresh Berries - 3.5 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Grate the chocolate using a coarse grater.

Step 2

Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Divide the sugar in half, adding the first half to the egg whites and the second half to the yolks, and beat both mixtures separately.

Step 3

Whip the cream in a separate bowl.

Step 4

Combine the grated chocolate, whipped cream, egg whites, and yolks with sugar, then place in the freezer for 3–4 hours.

Step 5

After 3–4 hours, remove the semifreddo from the freezer and use an ice cream scoop to form two balls, placing them on a plate.

Step 6

Drizzle the semifreddo with syrup, add berries, and garnish with mint.
