Description
You can sprinkle them with anything you like and decorate them on top with whatever you prefer. If you don't have a piping bag, you can roll them by hand; it might even be easier.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 17.6 oz
- Water - 17 fl oz
- Salt - ½ spoons
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Bring the salted water to a boil. Add the flour and mix well to avoid lumps. You can use a mixer.
Step 2
Cover with a towel and let cool. Then, fill a pastry syringe with the dough (I want to warn you that some effort will be needed when squeezing it out). Heat vegetable oil in a skillet until it reaches a boil.
Step 3
Pipe the dough in strips or pretzel shapes onto a skillet and fry until golden brown, flipping once to cook the other side.
Step 4
Remove and place on a dry paper towel or cloth to let the grease and oil drain.
Step 5
Dust with powdered sugar.
