Ingredients
- Dry yeast - 2 lbs
- Sugar - 4 tablespoons
- Apple - 3 pieces
- Ground Cinnamon - 2 teaspoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the cinnamon with two tablespoons of sugar.
Step 2
Pour the remaining sugar with one tablespoon of water into a wide pot or metal plate and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Wash the apples and remove the cores. Cut into thin slices and immerse in the boiling syrup for 3 minutes. Then place them on a plate to cool.
Step 4
Divide the dough into equal balls the size of a lemon. Roll out not too thin, sprinkle with the cinnamon and sugar mixture, and roll up into a log. Coil each log in a circle and make cuts all around with scissors.
Step 5
To make the apple roll, roll out a piece of dough, sprinkle with the cinnamon and sugar mixture, cut into strips, place apple slices along the edge of each strip, roll up, place on a baking sheet, and press down slightly on top. Brush with the remaining syrup (just a little).
Step 6
After 15–20 minutes, when the rolls have risen, place in a preheated oven for 25 minutes (depending on the oven).
