Description

Ingredients

  • Ground Oats - 1½ cups
  • Rye Bread - 1½ cups
  • Apple juice with pulp - ½ cup
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Egg white - 2 pieces
  • Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
  • Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - ½ teaspoon
  • Vanillin - 1 teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Mix the oat flour (ground oat groats), baking soda, baking powder, add cinnamon and salt.

Step 2

In another bowl, mix the bran, apple juice, and water.

Step 3

In a third bowl, beat the egg whites with vanillin.

Step 4

While kneading the dough, combine all the ingredients.

Step 5

Place the dough in a non-stick pan and bake the bread for about 1 hour at 180-374°F.

Step 6

*Check with a dry wooden stick by piercing the center of the bread. The bread is ready if the stick comes out dry.
