Ingredients
- Milk - 2 fl oz
- Brown Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 0.2 oz
- Butter - 1.2 oz
- Dry yeast - 0.1 oz
- Cinnamon - 0.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Warm the milk slightly.
Step 2
Dissolve the yeast in it, adding 1 tablespoon of flour and sugar at a time. Mix and place in a warm spot.
Step 3
Sift the remaining flour, add the grated and previously chilled butter, and rub together with your hands.
Step 4
Gather the mixture into a mound and make a well in the center.
Step 5
Pour the prepared yeast mixture into this well and knead the dough.
Step 6
Place the finished dough in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.
Step 7
Once the dough has cooled, take it out of the refrigerator.
Step 8
Roll it out into a sheet about 2 mm thick.
Step 9
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Step 10
Cut the circle into 8 wedges and roll them into crescents.
Step 11
Place on a baking sheet. Put in the oven preheated to 356°F.
Step 12
Bake until the crescents are golden brown.
Step 13
Sprinkle the cooled crescents with powdered sugar.
