Incredibly delicious when served warm with milk.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 4.2 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 4 pieces
- Milk - 10 fl oz
- Marinated cherries - 14.1 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 tablespoons
- Apple - 3 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy, add milk and melted butter. Whisk with a mixer until a homogeneous airy mass forms.
Step 2
Peel 2 apples, slice them, and drizzle with lemon juice.
Step 3
Remove the pits from the cherries.
Step 4
Grease a baking dish (preferably with removable sides) with butter.
Step 5
Place the apples and cherries in the dish.
Step 6
Pour the batter over the fruit.
Step 7
Place in an oven preheated to 392°F (392 degrees Fahrenheit) for 35–40 minutes.
Step 8
Remove from the oven and flip it over.
Step 9
Peel the remaining apple and slice it into thin pieces.
Step 10
Pour over 3 tablespoons of water mixed with 5 tablespoons of sugar and place on low heat.
Step 11
Once the apples are covered in caramel, place them on top of the clafoutis.
