Beat the softened butter with sugar until creamy, then gradually add the eggs, salt, and cognac while mixing.

Once a uniform mixture is formed, add the raisins, flour with baking soda, and quickly knead the dough.
Step 3
Place the prepared dough into greased and floured molds, smooth the surface of the dough, and put it in the oven.
Step 4
Bake cakes weighing 60–100 g for 25–35 minutes, and those weighing 500–600 g for 60–70 minutes at a temperature of 190–392°F.
Step 5
Sprinkle the finished and cooled cakes with powdered sugar.
