Description
Remember that to achieve the maximum chocolate flavor, the cake should be left to steep overnight so that it is very cold.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 2 cups
- Margarine - 7.1 oz
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Cocoa Powder - 4 tablespoons
- Farm fresh eggs - 4 pieces
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Milk - ½ cup
- Raisins - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt the margarine or butter and mix it with sugar, cocoa (you can add more than the norm for an even tastier cake!), and milk. Heat the mixture until it comes to a boil.
Step 2
Pour 6–8 tablespoons of the chocolate mixture into a separate cup, and set the rest aside to cool. When the mixture cools to room temperature, add the eggs, baking soda, chopped nuts or raisins, and flour.
Step 3
Thoroughly mix the batter until no lumps remain, then pour it into a baking pan lined with greased parchment paper.
Step 4
Bake the cake for about twenty minutes at 374°F, then remove it from the oven and take off the paper while it is still hot.
Step 5
Drizzle the cooled cake with the glaze (the chocolate mixture from the separate cup).
