Description
Classic cottage cheese casserole made in a slow cooker.
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
- Sugar - ¾ glasses
- Cottage cheese - 17.6 oz
- Kefir - 1 glass
- Semolina - ½ glasses
- Vanilla extract - 1 tablespoon
- Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - ¼ spoons
- Raisins - to taste
- Candied fruits - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with a mixer for 2–3 minutes until they become fluffy. Add the sugar and beat again. Then, gradually add the cottage cheese, kefir, semolina, vanilla, salt, and baking powder. Finally, add the raisins and mix well. The batter will be quite liquid.
Step 2
Grease the slow cooker pot with butter or margarine.
Step 3
Place the dough in a container. Set the mode to 'Baking' for 45 minutes. If you have a small-capacity multicooker like mine, the layer of dough will be quite thick. In that case, you can either divide the specified amount into 2 batches or increase the baking time by 20 to 30 minutes.
Step 4
The casserole turns out very tender. If the top is a bit pale, you can sprinkle it with cinnamon or immediately spread some jam over it.
