Ingredients
- Semolina - 1 glass
- Wheat Flour - 1 glass
- Kefir - 1 glass
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Baking Powder - ½ spoons
- Salt - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the semolina with kefir, mix well, and let it soak for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Lightly beat the eggs with a mixer until frothy.
Step 3
Add the sugar to the mixing bowl and continue to beat until fluffy.
Step 4
Combine the soaked semolina with the eggs and mix thoroughly using a silicone spatula.
Step 5
Add vanilla extract and stir.
Step 6
Sift the flour and baking powder, then mix with the batter until smooth.
Step 7
Grease the baking dish well with butter.
Step 8
Pour the semolina batter into a baking dish and place it in the oven preheated to 356°F for 30 minutes.
Step 9
To check if the semolina cake is ready, poke it with a wooden skewer or toothpick: if it comes out dry, the cake is done. Dust the cake with powdered sugar or drizzle it with melted chocolate.
