- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Salt - ½ g
- Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
- Kefir - 7 fl oz
- Baking Powder - 0.1 oz
- Vanilla - 0 oz
- Pitted Cherries - 17.6 oz
- Sugar - 3.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the dough, sift the flour into a bowl, add salt, baking powder, mix, then add butter and rub it into the flour, then pour in the kefir and knead a soft dough. If you feel that there is not enough flour, add a little more. Roll the dough into a thin layer, about 3 mm thick. Cut into strips 20-30 cm long and 7-8 cm wide.
Step 2
Place a row of cherries in the center of each strip, sprinkle with sugar, and pinch to form a roll.
Step 3
Arrange the filled cherry rolls in a spiral in a baking dish and bake at 392°F until golden brown, about 30-40 minutes.
Step 4
Remove the pie from the mold and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
