Ingredients

  • Apple - 5 pieces
  • Dates - 8 fl oz
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla salt - ½ teaspoon
  • Salt - ¼ teaspoon
  • Grated Ginger Root - ¼ teaspoon
  • Macadamia Nuts - 2.6 oz
  • Pecan - 2.6 oz
  • Coconut Milk - 1 tablespoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Peel the apples, remove the cores, and chop them finely.

Step 2

Grind the cashews and pecans in a food processor. Add salt, vanilla, coconut oil, and a quarter cup of dates. Grind again.

Step 3

Separately grind the remaining dates with all the other ingredients.

Step 4

In baking dishes (preferably individual ones), layer the apples, then the date mixture with honey, lemon juice, and ginger. Mix well. Top with the ground nut mixture.

Step 5

Bake in the oven at 392°F for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
