Ingredients
- Sweetened Condensed Milk with Coffee - 7.1 oz
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Desiccated coconut - 14.1 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 2¼ cups
- Chopped almonds - 2.3 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 15.9 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with foil and lightly grease with vegetable oil.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and salt.
Step 3
Gradually stir in the powdered sugar and mix well with a wooden spoon. Then add the coconut and mix again thoroughly.
Step 4
Transfer the mixture to the dish, smooth it out, and press it down slightly. Place the almonds evenly spaced apart, pressing them in slightly. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Using a sharp knife, cut the mixture into small rectangles.
Step 6
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Step 7
Dip the truffles in the chocolate until fully coated and place them on the baking sheet. Chill for 30 minutes until the chocolate sets.
