Coconut ice cream with orange
Ingredients
- Vanillin - to taste
- Orange juice concentrate - 10 fl oz
- Coconut Milk - 1 can
- Agave Syrup - 2 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Whip the milk, vanilla, and 2 tablespoons of syrup. Set aside.
Step 2
In another bowl, mix the orange juice and the remaining syrup. Add more sweetener if needed.
Step 3
For creamier ice cream, combine the milk and orange juice and pour into molds. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes, then insert sticks and leave in the freezer for another 4 hours, or until firm.
Step 4
For layered ice cream, pour the milk into the molds and place in the freezer for 10 minutes, then drizzle the juice on top. Return to the freezer for 30 minutes, then insert sticks and leave in the freezer for another 4 hours, or until firm.
Step 5
To remove from molds, either leave them for 5–10 minutes until the ice cream softens enough, or hold under room temperature water for 10–15 seconds, then gently remove.
