- Butter - 4.2 oz
- Sugar - ¾ cup
- Salt - a pinch
- Orange zest - 2 teaspoons
- Desiccated coconut - 24 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
- Liquid dark chocolate - 6 oz

Preheat the oven to 320°F. Line 3 baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a bowl, beat the butter until creamy, then add the sugar and salt and beat again. Next, incorporate the eggs, zest, and shredded coconut. Use a teaspoon to drop small balls of dough onto the parchment, leaving space between them.
Step 3
Bake one tray at a time for 25–30 minutes, then cool.
Step 4
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and drizzle it over the macaroons with a fork, making zigzag motions. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes and serve.
