Coffee Cake with Chocolate
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 2.6 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2.5 oz
- Cocoa Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 3.9 oz
- Condensed Milk - 3.9 oz
- Liqueur - 4 tablespoons
- Liquid dark chocolate - 3.5 oz
- 10% cream - 2 tablespoons
- Ground Coffee - 3 tablespoons
- Cookie - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with sugar using a mixer until they turn pale and increase in volume by 3 times.
Step 2
Add the sifted flour mixed with cocoa powder.
Step 3
Pour the mixture into a baking pan.
Step 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 10–15 minutes.
Step 5
Let it cool.
Step 6
Cut into two parts. Soak one part with coffee mixed with 2 tablespoons of coffee liqueur. Soak the second part with a little liqueur (about 1 tablespoon).
Step 7
Prepare the cream. Beat the room temperature butter with a mixer until smooth, gradually adding liqueur (1 tablespoon) and condensed milk. Whip until a uniform smooth mass is achieved.
Step 8
Spread cream on the layer that was soaked less — this will be the bottom layer. Cover with the second layer, pressing down lightly.
Step 9
Melt the chocolate in a water bath with 2 tablespoons of cream. Pour the chocolate over the cake, spreading it all over.
Step 10
Crush the cookies in a blender into fine crumbs. Sprinkle on the sides.
Step 11
Cut into portion-sized pieces and decorate as desired.
