Description
You can bake the batter not all at once, but divide it into several portions, so the layers bake faster. You can also use leftover chocolate to decorate the cake.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 2½ cups
- Instant coffee - 4 teaspoons
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 0.7 tablespoons
- Baking Powder - 1½ teaspoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil - ½ cup
- Vanilla salt - 1 teaspoon
- Liquid dark chocolate - 1 piece
- Citric Acid - ½ teaspoon
- 10% cream - 20 fl oz
- Sour Cream - 6.3 oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 8.8 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 6 pieces
- Powdered Sugar - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the biscuit, brew the coffee in hot water. Grate the chocolate bar.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
Step 3
Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the vegetable oil, egg yolks, coffee, and vanilla.
Step 4
Mix well.
Step 5
Add the grated chocolate and mix again.
Step 6
In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites with citric acid until stiff peaks form.
Step 7
Gently fold the egg whites into the batter with a spatula to avoid deflating.
Step 8
Line the bottom of a baking pan with parchment paper. Pour in the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 60–70 minutes. Remove and cool. After cooling, cut into layers.
Step 9
For the frosting, mix the cottage cheese with powdered sugar and sour cream and blend until smooth.
Step 10
Whip the cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
Step 11
Gently combine the cottage cheese mixture with the whipped cream.
Step 12
Spread the frosting between the layers.
