- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- 10% cream - 16 fl oz
- Instant coffee - 2 tablespoons
- Wafer cakes - 7.9 oz
- Mascarpone Cheese Unagrande - 15.9 oz
- Cocoa Powder - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare a round pie dish with a removable bottom. Place an empty mixing bowl in the freezer for at least 10 minutes. Then, mix the cream, sugar, and coffee in the bowl and whip everything on high speed for about 2 minutes until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the mascarpone, mix, and set aside.
Step 2
Now begin layering the dessert by placing a layer of wafers at the bottom. Spread a layer of cream on top. Continue layering, alternating wafers and cream. The final layer should be cream. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder using a sieve and remove the sides of the dish.
