Description
1. Condensed coffee cannot be replaced with anything else. 2. You can use almost any nuts — cashews, peanuts, almonds. However, since walnuts are not sweet, they will stand out the most in the log. 3. Take it out of the freezer or refrigerator about 10–15 minutes before serving. Since the log is made with butter, it will simply melt at room temperature. 4. The picture may not match exactly.
Ingredients
- Sweetened Condensed Milk with Coffee - 1 can
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Walnuts - 3.5 oz
- Yubileynoye Cookies - 10.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Crush the cookies into large crumbs. You can use a meat grinder or a food processor.
Step 2
Add the butter and mix well until you achieve a homogeneous mass.
Step 3
Pour in all the coffee from the can and mix again to avoid lumps (it is very thick, like condensed milk, but coffee).
Step 4
Crush the walnuts, but not too finely, so that there are pieces rather than dust. This will enhance the flavor and the texture of the nuts.
Step 5
Place it in a mold of your choice and put it in the freezer. Or in the refrigerator if it freezes too much.
