- Butter - 8.5 oz
- All-purpose flour - 2 cups
- Cheddar cheese - 4.2 oz
- Fresh rosemary - 1 teaspoon
- Ground cayenne pepper - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until the dough forms a ball.
Step 2
Shape the dough into a log and tightly wrap it in plastic wrap.
Step 3
Freeze the dough for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 5
Slice the log into coins about 5 mm thick and place them on the baking sheet.
Step 6
Bake until golden brown for 15-18 minutes.
Step 7
Cool and store in an airtight container.
