Ingredients
- Rice - 10.6 oz
- Milk - 1 qt
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Vanillin - a pinch
- Chili jam - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice, add it to boiling water, bring to a boil, drain in a colander, and rinse with cold water.
Step 2
Pour the prepared rice with boiling milk, cook until soft over low heat with the lid on.
Step 3
Add vanillin and sugar to the hot porridge, stir well.
Step 4
Distribute the finished porridge into small molds moistened with cold water and pack it down.
Step 5
Place the molds with porridge in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours.
Step 6
Invert the molds onto a wide flat plate to serve the porridge.
Step 7
Make a small indentation in the center of each serving and fill it with berries from the jam.
Step 8
Add a little water to the remaining syrup, bring to a boil.
Step 9
Drizzle the porridge with syrup and serve.
