Description
Colombian breakfast – a creamy changua soup. You can also add potatoes if you like.
Ingredients
- Milk - 30 fl oz
- Water - 15 fl oz
- Cilantro - 0 oz
- Scallions - 0 oz
- Stale Bread - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Coarsely chop the cilantro.
Step 3
Chop the onion as well.
Step 4
Pour water and milk into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Add the onion, reserving a little for garnish.
Step 6
Season with salt and pepper, then let it simmer for 3 minutes over low heat.
Step 7
Carefully add the eggs to the soup one by one using a small cup. It's important that they do not stick together.
Step 8
Cook for another three minutes and add cilantro, reserving a little for garnish.
Step 9
Place one egg in a bowl, pour in some broth, and add some stale bread.
Step 10
Garnish with herbs. Serve.
