Description
A rare recipe brought to us by Emily Johnson. The dough serves as the blanket, while the filling is a delicious jelly.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 9.9 oz
- Butter - 8.1 oz
- Cottage cheese - 7.8 oz
- Fruit Jelly - 7.1 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the flour with the salt.
Step 2
Mix room temperature butter with cottage cheese until smooth.
Step 3
Combine all the ingredients, shape into a ball, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Step 4
Cut the jelly into sticks measuring 3–4 cm in length and 0.5 cm in thickness.
Step 5
Take the dough out of the refrigerator. Cut it into two pieces, place the first back in the refrigerator, and roll the second into an even circle.
Step 6
Cut into four pieces, then cut each segment into three more. You will end up with twelve pieces.
Step 7
Place a piece of jelly on the wide edge and roll it up. Do the same with the remaining segments, and then with the leftover dough from the refrigerator.
Step 8
Bake at 356°F for 15–20 minutes. Once baked, you can dust the cookies with powdered sugar.
