Description
It's better to use jam with pieces of apples rather than a smooth one. When drizzling the cookies with icing, be careful not to get it on the jam, but only on the cookies themselves.
Ingredients
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Vanilla salt - 1 teaspoon
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 2 cups
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Walnuts - 2.3 oz
- Pear Jam - 1 cup
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Nutmeg - ½ teaspoon
- Powdered Sugar - 1 cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the butter with sugar and vanilla sugar using a mixer, add the egg, coarsely chopped nuts, flour mixed with baking powder, and 0.25 teaspoon of salt.
Step 2
Form the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Shape the cookies and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 4
Make indentations in each cookie with a tablespoon, and place 1 teaspoon of jam in each (mix the jam with cinnamon and nutmeg beforehand).
Step 5
Bake in the oven at 356°F for 25–30 minutes, drizzle the finished cookies with icing: mix 1 cup of powdered sugar with 3 tablespoons of water.
