Description
If desired, you can mix the remaining powdered sugar with a couple of tablespoons of sea buckthorn juice to create a fragrant and delicious glaze for the cookies.
Ingredients
- Butter - 4.1 oz
- Philadelphia Cheese - 4.1 oz
- Sea Buckthorn - 2 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 11.3 oz
- Baking Powder - 0.4 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Powdered Sugar - 3.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine the butter with cream cheese, add sugar, and blend until smooth. While continuously stirring, gradually pour the sea buckthorn juice into the cheese mixture. In a separate bowl, mix the flour with baking powder and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the mixture and stir thoroughly (at this stage, be careful not to overwork the dough and knead it for too long).
Step 2
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it with oil. Roll the dough into small balls (about 2.5 cm in diameter), place them on the baking sheet, and press down with a fork to create a striped pattern on the tops of the cookies. Bake in a preheated oven at 374°F for ten minutes, then remove and let cool slightly. Dust the cookies with powdered sugar using a fine sieve.
