Ingredients
- Carrot - 4 pieces
- Cottage cheese - 7.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1 glass
- Sugar - 0 oz
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, two eggs, and a cup of sugar. Mix thoroughly (it's best to use a mixer for quicker and easier results).
Step 2
Wash the carrot, peel it, and grate it on a fine grater. Add it to the cheese mixture.
Step 3
Mix the carrots and the cottage cheese mixture.
Step 4
Mix a cup of flour with a teaspoon of baking powder (or half a teaspoon of baking soda). Gradually add this mixture to the cottage cheese and carrot mixture, and knead the dough. The dough should have a consistency similar to that of pancake batter or slightly thicker.
Step 5
Pour the batter into the baking pan. If the pan is metal, it should be greased with oil or lined with parchment paper. I used a silicone mold, which doesn't require greasing.
Step 6
Bake in the oven at a low temperature for about 40 minutes. The cake is done when a toothpick inserted into it comes out clean.
