Description
Do not substitute the dry crumbly 9% cottage cheese with another type, as it will be too fatty and lose its fluffiness.
Ingredients
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Whole egg - 3 pieces
- Egg white - 4 pieces
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Cottage cheese - 26.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Bananas - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the dough, mix the flour with the baking powder and 2 tablespoons of sugar, add 250 g of cottage cheese, butter, 1 egg, and mix well until a somewhat homogeneous mass is obtained. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Beat the yolks with sugar until a fluffy mass is formed. Add 500 g of cottage cheese. Mix thoroughly with a mixer on medium speed until a creamy mass is obtained.
Step 3
Whip the egg whites with a mixer on high speed into a fluffy foam (about 2–3 minutes).
Step 4
Carefully fold the egg whites into the cottage cheese-yolk mixture with a spoon. Do not strive for uniformity.
Step 5
Grease the baking dish with butter (or line with parchment paper).
Step 6
Spread the dough and form the edges.
Step 7
Slice the bananas into rounds and place them on the dough, pressing down slightly.
Step 8
Carefully pour the cottage cheese mixture over the bananas.
Step 9
Preheat the oven to 392°F. Bake for about 40 minutes until a golden crust forms. Leave to cool in the oven for 10–15 minutes.
Step 10
Serve warm.
