- Sugar - 11.6 oz
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Cottage cheese - 9.2 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Orange zest - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the sugar and softened butter for about 7–8 minutes. The sugar will not dissolve, and the mixture will be crumbly.
Step 2
Add the cottage cheese (grainy, previously blended with an immersion blender) and beat until smooth.
Step 3
Pour in the eggs, beaten in a separate bowl, and mix with a mixer.
Step 4
Add the zest of 1 lemon and 1 orange, sift in the flour and baking powder. Mix thoroughly with a mixer.
Step 5
Line the baking pan with parchment paper. Bake in an electric oven at 338°F for 35–40 minutes. Cool and dust with powdered sugar.
