Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 12.3 oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 5.3 oz
- Kefir - 7 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
- Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Raisins - 1.8 oz
- Oranges - 1 piece
- Butter - 0.7 oz
- Semolina - 2.8 oz
- Vanilla salt - 1 tablespoon
- Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Jam - to taste
- Sour Cream - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Grate the orange zest using a fine grater, being careful not to touch the white pith.
Step 3
Soak the raisins in hot water for 10 minutes. Drain the water.
Step 4
Blend the cottage cheese, cream cheese, and kefir using an immersion blender or mixer.
Step 5
Add the eggs, both types of sugar, semolina, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
Step 6
Stir until smooth.
Step 7
At the very end, fold the raisins and zest into the dough.
Step 8
Grease the slow cooker bowl with butter.
Step 9
Bake the casserole for 40 minutes on the 'Bake' setting (or at 284°F).
Step 10
After cooking, remove the lid and let the casserole rest for 10–15 minutes. Carefully transfer the casserole to a serving dish, flipping the bowl over.
Step 11
Serve with sour cream or jam.
