Cottage cheese casserole with smoked fish
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 17.6 oz
- Hot smoked pink salmon - 7.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Hard Cheese - 1.1 oz
- Semolina - 5 teaspoons
- Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Parsley - 1 bunch
- Olive Oil - 3 spoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Peel the carrot and boil it. Allow it to cool and then grate it using a coarse grater.
Step 3
Blend the cottage cheese in a blender until smooth.
Step 4
Finely chop the parsley.
Step 5
Carefully remove the bones from the fish and break it into small segments.
Step 6
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Mash the yolks with the cottage cheese.
Step 7
Add semolina and baking powder to the cottage cheese, and mix well.
Step 8
Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, herbs, grated carrot, and pieces of fish to the cottage cheese mixture. Mix well.
Step 9
Beat the egg whites until fluffy and gently fold them into the cheese mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 10
Grease the baking dish with the remaining olive oil, pour in the mixture, and place it in the preheated oven at 356°F for 25–30 minutes.
Step 11
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with grated cheese, and return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
Step 12
Serve the casserole warm or cold.
