- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Sugar - 8.8 oz
- Whole egg - 1 piece
- Vanilla salt - 1 tablespoon
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 17.6 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Lemon - ½ piece
- Whipped Cream - 1 fl oz
- Starch film - 1.8 oz
- Strawberry - 8.8 oz
- Pastry gel - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the shortcrust pastry. The dough should be made quickly to keep it cold. Mix the flour with the baking powder and vanilla sugar. Finely chop the cold butter. Evenly sift it onto the work surface, make a well in the center, and place the egg yolk in it. Sprinkle the edges with sugar. Distribute the chopped butter over the flour. Using cold hands, quickly knead the dough until smooth and soft, roll it into a ball, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Prepare the filling. Allow the cottage cheese to drain well. Separate 3 eggs into yolks and whites. Cut the room temperature butter into pieces and beat with sugar using a mixer until frothy, then add the 3 egg yolks. Add the lemon juice and grated zest to the buttery mixture. Mix in the cream and cottage cheese. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold in with the starch.
Step 3
Bake. Preheat the oven to 356°F. Remove the dough from the refrigerator, roll it out, and place it in a lightly greased round baking pan (28 cm) so that the crust has a height of 3 cm. Bake the crust for 15 minutes. Cover the crust with the cottage cheese mixture and bake on the lower rack of the oven for 1 hour.
Step 4
Decorate. Wash the strawberries, remove the stems, and slice them into thin petals. Prepare the red glaze for the cake according to the instructions on the package. Arrange the berries beautifully on the cake and carefully pour the red liquid from the center to the edges of the cake. Allow the glaze to set and the cake to cool. Optionally, decorate with whipped cream.
