Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 6.3 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2.8 oz
- Sugar - 1.2 oz
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Baking Powder - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mash part of the cottage cheese (120 g) with the yolks and 1/3 of the sugar (you can add more for a sweeter dough). Add baking soda or baking powder. Gradually add the flour. Leave the resulting dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 2
Mix the remaining cottage cheese and sugar. You can add sour cream or milk if the filling is not soft enough.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 180–392°F. Roll out the dough to 3–5 mm, spread the filling on half of the dough, and cover with the other half. Roll into a log and cut into cookies (about 1 cm). Place in the oven for 20–25 minutes.
