Description

Use whole grain flour (the kind with bran). It's better to buy dense low-fat cottage cheese. Soft cottage cheese won't work.

Ingredients

  • Butter - 2.5 oz
  • Dry Curd - 7.1 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Brown Sugar - 3 tablespoons
  • Vanilla salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Honey - 2 teaspoons
  • Citrus Zest Mix - 1 piece
  • Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Melt the butter, add the sugar, and stir until completely dissolved. Grate the lemon zest.

Step 2

Add the cottage cheese and honey, mix, then add the egg. Gradually add the flour while stirring, then the vanilla sugar and baking powder. Add the lemon zest and mix again.

Step 3

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease it with butter. Using a teaspoon, place pieces of dough on the baking sheet (to make them uniform and nice-looking, roll them into balls between your palms and flatten them) spaced 3 cm apart.

Step 4

Bake in a preheated oven at 175–356°F until golden brown for 15–20 minutes.
