Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese - 14.1 oz
  • Margarine - 7.1 oz
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Sugar - to taste
  • Wheat Flour - 1½ cups
  • Cinnamon - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Melt the margarine and mix it with the cottage cheese.

Step 2

Sift the flour (this will make the cookies fluffier) and add salt. Mix the softened margarine with the cottage cheese, gradually adding the flour to the mixture.

Step 3

Form the resulting elastic mass into a ball and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll the chilled dough into a log, cut into pieces, and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.

Step 4

Mix the sugar with cinnamon.

Step 5

Shape the cottage cheese pieces into circles, dip one side in sugar, fold in half, and dip again in the sugar mixture, fold again, dip, and place on a baking sheet (greased or lined with parchment paper).

Step 6

Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 15–20 minutes (depending on the oven).
