Mix a package of cottage cheese, 3 eggs, 2 tablespoons of sugar, half a teaspoon of baking soda (reacted with kefir or vinegar), a pinch of salt, and one cup of flour. Knead the dough and shape it into balls using wet hands (you can place pieces of fruit or berries inside).
Step 2
Fry in hot oil for about 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally. Use a slotted spoon to transfer to a paper towel to remove excess fat. Then, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with syrup.
