Description
You will need 8 small cake molds (from the store) and 2 large molds (also from the store). The dough is enough for exactly this amount.
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 31.7 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 9 pieces
- Sugar - 4 cups
- Wheat Flour - 6 cups
- Activated Baking Soda - 1½ teaspoons
- Butter - 10.6 oz
- Vanillin - to taste
- Orange zest - to taste
- Raisins - to taste
- Walnuts - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mash the cottage cheese in a food processor until smooth, add sugar and mix well again, then add the eggs.
Step 2
Melt the butter and mix it with the ingredients from step 1. Combine everything in a large bowl or pot.
Step 3
Add the flour and baking soda, then add the zest of several oranges, raisins, and walnuts.
Step 4
Fill the molds 2/3 full with the batter. 8 small and 2 large molds for the Easter cake.
Step 5
Bake for 45 minutes at 356°F.
Step 6
Drizzle the cakes with sugar glaze and decorate.
