Description
Cottage cheese Easter cakes with glaze
Ingredients
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 1 glass
- Cottage cheese - 10.6 oz
- Sugar - 1½ glasses
- Baking Powder - 0.4 oz
- Nuts - to taste
- Candied fruits - to taste
- Raisins - to taste
- Salt - a pinch
- Egg white - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat 3 eggs with 1 cup of sugar, then add melted butter, making sure to let it cool first. Mix everything together and add a pinch of salt.
Step 2
Add the cottage cheese to the mixture. You can strain the cottage cheese through a sieve beforehand to make the dough smoother.
Step 3
Next, gradually add the flour mixed with baking powder, sifting it through a sieve beforehand if desired.
Step 4
The dough should not be too sticky. You can add raisins, candied fruits, or nuts.
Step 5
Place in any baking dish and put it in the oven preheated to 356°F. Depending on the shape of the dish, the batter may bake for anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour. You can check for doneness using a toothpick.
Step 6
Drizzle the resulting cottage cheese cakes with icing (egg white, well beaten with sugar) and sprinkle with confetti.
